Flowers

A record breaking female artist. Considered to be the most influential and first world renowned female artist.

Many of her pieces are flowers, watercolor pieces and extremely large scale. She would incorporate her abstract background with her flower subjects filing the compositional space with the organic forms of the flowers.

She has many quotes about her work but when specifically asked about her flowers she said, 

"Well - I made you take time to look at what I saw and when you took time to really notice my flowers you hung all your own associations with flowers on my flower and you write about my flower as if I think and see what you think and see of the flower - and I don't."

She was very protective of her work as most artists are.
