Caravaggio's Disposition

Michelangelo Caravaggio's horrible temper got him in a lot of trouble. He traveled around Europe because of lots of brawls.

In 1606, he fled Rome in fear for his life after a gambling disagreement ended in the death of his opponent. He waited and was finally granted a pardon from the Pope and able to return to Rome.

After his murder pardon, he was eventually arrested and died in prison of a fever. Ironically he was arrested for a crime he did not commit.
