Plaster Sculptures

George Segal became famous for his plaster sculptures of human forms. These sculptures were created using a living model that Segal would create molds from. He would wrap the person in plaster bandages. These sculptures are hollow on the inside and not filled with any material. These human forms revitalize the influence of classical sculptural forms.

Unlike Jenkins human forms, Segal's are typically displayed in art museums and galleries.
